Roger Mayer Axis fuzz

Hi! I'm new to this forum so hello to all!!!!
I have one of your schematics for the roger mayer axis fuzz! I'm a newbie so off course it didn't work, i've been trying to find out whats wrong but just can't get it!!

When I connect te pedal, it doesn't fuzz, the only thing that works is the volume, the drive doesn't do anything, just help me on something, the third lug on the drive pot doesn't connect to anything right??? it says N.C.

thank you all!

Yes, on the Axis Fuzz the 3rd lug of the drive pot doesn't connect to anything.

A methodology for troubleshooting can be found here.

The two tools that are crucial for troubleshooting are a multimeter (5-10 bucks at walmart) and a audio probe.

You plug a cord into your amp and the audio probe, and plug a guitar into the inoput of the pedal. Then you "probe" around inside the pedal to figure out what's working. I personally start at the beginning of the input signal and follow the schematic.

You use the multimeter to measure voltages and resistances to make sure things are working the way they are supposed to. Some multimeter useage is covered in the link above.

Good luck; troubleshooting is 3/4 of the battle.
