and my SunFace NKT275

http://medlem.spray.se/mrcheesedoodle/fourphotogalery35.html

I'm gon'na replace the JH-2 card with my own fuzzface http://medlem.spray.se/mrcheesedoodle/hpbimg/Gura%20016b.jpg

and try to tweak it to sound like the SunFace.

The schem of the SunFace looks like the Arbiter fuzz

but with 100k vol pot.

Any suggestions , gain on Q1 and Q2 ?

/Ricky

The gains of Germanium transistors in a Germanium Fuzz Face circuit should be 70-90 for Q1 and 100-130 for Q2. That will give the best overall sound. Just be sure to get the collector voltage of Q2 around -4.5V to -5V so that it's biased properly.

I know that Analog Mike checks his NKT275 transistors according to RG Keen's method at www.geofex.com.

Thanks for sharing the pictures, too!

Phillip
