Hi everybody, new here.


Been reading this forum for a while and this is my first post

You like your chequer plate dont you! Looks great! You didn't cut up that steel U-joist with a hand hack saw did you??!! What's it sound like by the way? I hear mixed reviews of the MXR distortion...

The MXR Distortion + can be a really excellent sounding pedal when you tweak it just right...and use a 500K reverse audio taper pot for the distortion control. Here's my modified version, the Liquid Drive, based on the Ross Distortion (pretty much the same as the Dist + except with Germanium clipping diodes in stead of Silicon):

I love this thing when it's being pushed by the modified Ross Compressor...lots of "growl"...a beautiful thing
