quick resistor question

I just got a package from mouser and they sent 3.3k resistors instead of 33k i was just wondering would it be correct if i put a 3.3 in parallel with a 10k. Cheers ,

Matt

A 10K in parallel with a 3.3K would be 2.481K.  A 10K in series with a 3.3K would be 13.3K.  I would call Mouser and alert them to the mistake...they'll most likely send you the correct values at no charge.

I would call them but the thing is my project is due monday. I talked to my physics teacher and he said to series 10 3.3k or 3 10k. I dont have any 10k and i doubt 10 3.3k is going to fit nicely on my board.. any ideas or thoughts? also if any one feels kind enough to IM me I'll be on(probably all night) at RevoltxRevolt, I may be away but ill check periodically.

EDIT: I hacked open an old sound board and pulled out a 33k, also ran over a super nintendo looking for resistors. Nintendo means business! it took me and my friend 3 tries to crack it open with an 86 le baron..geez its late..
