PCB's

could anyone tell me how i could get my hands on some PCB's?

i have never taken any electronics courses or anything and i am interested in making the scrambler clone to be placed in the body of a guitar i'm making, (along with a clone of a MXR Phase 90)

so....can anyone tell me how i could get started? specifically pointing to any tutorials, or guidelines, my little brother took electronics at GCSE level, and one of my friends is at uni on an electrical engineering course, but it will be a while before i can talk to him, let alone see him, and i'd prefer not to talk to my brother about any electrical things, (although he sat for a GSCE, he failed it)

You can buy a scrambler board (and many others) here:
http://www.generalguitargadgets.com/index.php?option=content&task=view&id=46&Itemid=78 at the General Guitar Gadgets site for $12.00.
Here are a couple (PCB making) tutorials that were floating around in my hard drive:
http://www.geocities.com/pdmtr/
http://www.qsl.net/vk5cu/
I'm sure you can find many more with a Google search also.
Good Luck.
I think I am going to try a scrambler myself - on perf-board though.

What type of guitar are you planning on putting this in?  Buying a premade board may not be the best route since you will have size limits.  Is this your first project?

You may want to custom make a board to fit.

it will be built into a telecaster copy, space isn't a factor as i haven't routed the holes yet, so they could concievably be the entire body space, although that would be fairly rubbish, i'm not too confident about making the PCB's myself, but i'm sure i could manage it, i'll have a look at those sites and then i'll decide, :P

thanks people

Someother things to consider will be shielding.  Once you have your cavity cut - you will need to shield it well.

IMO - I would suggest for a first build is to do it as a self contained stompbox - get the hang of it - far less grieve.............

Have Fun

I'd stompbox the first one at least, that's my contrary to the thread opinion...but I use nasty octavefuzz stuff like that rarely, in 'cameo appearances'.
