Shin-ei fuzz circuit project

Hello out there...I have recently run across an old Shin-ei/Companion fuzz wah.  The fuzz is awesome, and I have done some playing through it, mainly with my jazz bass.  It has a very cool sound.  However, the wah is not so good (to me).  I am curious about removing the fuzz circuit and putting it in a box of its own.  If you guys, or gals, have any links to examples, or tidbits of helpful advice please send it along....I will be extremely grateful.

Not a problem...this thing has the schematic stuck right on the base plate.  I'll get a pic of it and get it to you....

 Yeah, the Shin Ei is a killer, one of my favorites.


 Why not make one on stripboard and sell the original?


 Real easy...low component count...
