Over the top fuzz?

I'm looking for an over the top fuzz- something with 4 or 5 knobs for maximum tweakability. Not a BMP type of fuzz, but something GE based. A combination of GE and SI would be cool.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

what do you mean with over the top?

extreme?

the best sounding fuzz i've ever tried is my homebuilt axis fuzz.
it has three knobs but it does have a great tweakability.

if you want more just look here

i would definitely give a try to all these opamp fuzz (ok an opamp is not like a bunch of ge transistor), especially the TMK aka too many knobs

Yes extreme. I guess I dont HAVE to have GE an op amp- if it provides cool fuzz- is not out of the question.

Do you know where I can get my hands on a good layout of the TMK?

Thanks!

usually germanium transistor have less gain and germanium tr based fuzz are more reactive to your guitar dynamics than silicon based ones, but i suppose it's not what you're lookin for.

i don't know where to find a layout but i've made some of the circuit snippets just laying down the components just looking at the schematics without planning anything.

i think it's very difficult to find a pcb layout for them so:

_do it by yourself (i use the free program EAGLE CAD, it does the autoroute starting from the schematics)
_or build it on a pre-drilled board.
