V847 to Clyde Mc'coy

Hi I have a V847 reissue that I want to mod to Clyde Mc'coy spec. Is it possible to do that? Do they have the same schematic?

I have mod my wah into a true bypass using a dpdt switch (fulltone mod). would that be a disadvantage?  I am not an expert regarding to electronics, pls explain using familiar "english" :) thank you.

hi, in the axiswah page u mentioned quote: "The transistors that come in the Vox V847 and Dunlop Crybaby pedals are the high gain, general purpose MPSA18. I personally think that these transistors are way too high gain to make a good sounding wah pedal." Did u mean the wah sound is deep, as in high "aaaahhhh...."?

and quote : "For Q1 I chose a unit with a gain of 400, and for Q2 I chose one with a gain of 388" how do you get the gain that u wanted with these transistor? or is it, they come with that gain already?

thanks, I did poorly in my electronic classes :P
