i use a power filtering cap, and polarity protection in wah? Wish more people would
with adaptors being used!

Mostly due to a space issue on the circuit boards...I couldn't find any good way to draw them into the circuit board since I was trying to stay as close as possible to the original Vox circuit board layouts (V847).

When you're using a Vox wah shell there's no DC power jack, so the danger of reverse polarity power connection is somewhat less than if you had a battery AND a DC power jack.
