Dallas randemaster clone

Hi Phillip,

I made the Rangemaster clone from your schematics page and added some changes, like a input cap switch, LED and 1 meg pulldown resistors. This pedal sounds great. I just wanted to say thanks for the Info. BTW the other guitarist in my band said it was the best pedal he ever heard. LOL Now he wants to build one.

Hey Zapped,

What cap values did you use on your switch? I'm thinking of doing the same here.

Mojah,

For the caps I used a .005 and a .01. I wired it in parallel so, when I flip the switch I get - position #1- .005 and position #2- .015.

Glad to hear that you like it!    The RangeMaster and RangeBlaster have always been a big hit with visitors!

Hey Zapped,
I cant seem to find the correct transistor, im looking at mouser.com. Which transistor did you use for your rangemaster clone, assuming you build the negative ground version. Unfortunately smallbear is down now so I cant see if they have the 2N388 transistor.
Thanks
